GE Security's 250-CO is one of the best Carbon Monoxide Detectors for a wide variety of residential and commercial locations, as it complies with UL 2075 regulation. Using dependable, commercial-grade electrochemical sensing technology, the GE 250CO protects you and your family or employees from dangerous carbon monoxide gasses. Self diagnostics ensure that the 250CO remains operating at optimal capacity over the course of it's six year life. It's end-of-life sensor transmits signals to the control panel and (optionally) the central station, notifying all necessary parties that the carbon monoxide detector requires servicing.

GE Security's 250-CO provides a wealth of features, including trouble relays, a sounder and 12/24VDC operation. The 250-CO sensor is built to withstand normal indoor temperature fluctuations as well.

To ease the difficulty of upgrading from the previous GE Security SafeAir Carbon Monoxide products, we offer the 250-CO adapter plate for replacing the 240-COe, as it has a larger footprint than the newly revised 250-CO. The 250-CO is the direct replacement for the 240-COe and it is recommended to purchase the adapter plate if replacing the older 240-COe. For ordering the 250-CO Plate, the part number for the adapter plate is 250-CO-PLT.
