The HES-8300 is the 8300 Series Strike Body for cylindrical lock sets, fire rated with field selectable 12 or 24 VDC, fail secure or fail safe mode. as well as UL 1034 Burglary Listed certification. The 8300 is compact and designed for high performance, with fast and easy installation into a standard 1" ANSI/BHMA A156.115 dustbox with little or no modification to the existing frame, with vertical alignment to help compensate for door sag or misalignment. The 8300 is ideal for metal or wood frames, is tamper resistant and has a static strength of 1,500 Lbs and a dynamic strength of 70 ft-lbs, with an endurance of over 500,000 cycles. The 8300 is non-handed.
